Jason comes from a professional background of designing high-end, single-family residential homes around the Twin Cities. He recently started grooming a bonsai tree, a blue star juniper which he will add to the 20 something plants which have turned his office into a near greenhouse. Jason loves to cook and almost went to culinary school, a passion fed by the culinary culture he explored while living in Chicago for six years.
In his free time, Jason also enjoys doing woodworking and building furniture. He loves taking photos and doing ink pen landscape drawings specifically of mountains and other art. But his true passion is travel – last year he visited five different countries from the Netherlands to Columbia. A fun fact about Jason – he has family all over the world, from Oaxaca Mexico to Paris France. He was able to help build a studio in Oaxaca at his father’s house that he uses to host artists from around the world to visit and collaborate with he and his step-mother, a sculptor and professional artist.
