Working in the Architecture profession offers a lifelong journey of learning, so Jim likes to ask lots of questions (even dumb ones). He has spent the past five years working in multi-family and enjoys gaining knowledge and familiarity with the nuances of the building type. He appreciates the fast-paced nature of architecture and strives to develop well-organized drawings that are robust with accurate information and detail. He enjoys learning through the CA phase of projects, problem solving when unexpected issues arise during construction, and carrying forward “lessons learned” into future projects.

Jim enjoy spending lots of family time with his wife, son and 11-year old English Springer Spaniel. Jim side-hustles as a musician and has collaborated with numerous musicians throughout the Twin Cities over the past two decades. Jim enjoys volunteering as a camp counselor with an organization called Project Koru, where he leads annual wellness retreats for young adult cancer survivors in Maui. As a former marathoner, he is desperately trying to get back on the (running) wagon.
