Robin joined the DJR team in 2021 after many years of consulting and working for industry leaders such as Herman Miller, BKV Group and Allsteel. As our Director of Business Development, she works closely with the leadership team to help guide direction of the firm and to create lasting and reciprocal client connections and partnerships. Strategic relationships are a key element of her work, and she creates value in nurturing those relationships, sharing breakthrough research, and helping clients connect to the possibilities and impact of economic and community development. Developing strategic thinking and planning, and leading DJR into new areas of growth through a lens of “market intelligence meets community need”, Robin helps develop intentional growth fueled by curiosity, imagination, aligned partners and a mindset of “What If?”  

Robin is a champion for development, working internally and externally to guide DJR and our partners to work towards the same goal: impact through design, collaboration, equity-building, and inclusion. Creating visibility for our leaders to demonstrate expertise and future-thinking, as well as seeking out new opportunities or projects that align with DJR’s goals, vision, and aspirations are tenets of her leadership. She is a trained Leadership and Development Coach and applies the CASTLE principles – Courage, Authenticity, Service, Truthfulness, Love and Effectiveness – to how she chooses to show up every day with our teams, clients and communities.
