COBBLESTREET MARKET

Cobblestreet Market is an addition to a collection of retail around Cobblestone Lake. As one of the main corridors of this area, Pilot Knob Road provides easy access between the commercial and residential districts of Apple Valley. The design of this project used design elements similar to existing DJR projects across the street. The brick color, window placement and drive-thru location were chosen to bring cohesiveness to the retail district. 

Special attention was given to screening the rooftop equipment by extending parapets to block views. These parapets that step back from the outside face of the walls below provide the height the city wants for screening, without becoming a visual eye sore. The angled corner roof overhang and variation of materials create a visually interesting and attractive façade.
