CHROMA

Located in the high density Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis, Chroma is a 70-unit mixed-use development project. The site was home to a dilapidated brownfield that sat empty for more than a decade. Due to soil contamination, an extensive clean-up and restoration was done at the site. In addition, there were many energy-saving features incorporated into the building, helping to reduce the carbon footprint. Chroma was designed to keep rents affordable while still providing a full array of amenities including in-unit washer and dryers, full kitchens and designated bedrooms separated from living spaces. The building also includes a resident fitness center and lounge, plus a rooftop deck with space for a community garden.
