NICOLLET 2

Nicollet 2, a sister project to Nico Apartments, adds 123 residential units to the ever-expanding and successful Nicollet Franklin area in the Stevens Square neighborhood. The ground floor contains a residential lobby, amenities, and parking. Amenity decks on levels two and six provide mid-block urban relief with an upper level step back while giving residents a panoramic view of downtown Minneapolis. On the west side of the building a large community garden and a dog park border Lasalle Ave. This project also implements a stacked parking system.

A street-scaled stone podium with recessed entries is located along Nicollet to help activate the street and respond to the existing adjacent structures of the block. On the upper levels a combination of metal panels and cementitious siding are used with accents of wood look panels.
