THE CENTRAL

The Central, a 49 unit multi-family residential building, is our first of many projects alongside Yellow Tree Development. Its location on a transportation corridor allows a higher density zoning and lower parking count for the building. The smaller unit sizes and lower parking ratio create more affordable rents for tenants. These cost-effective methods don’t sacrifice quality in the design because, for example, larger windows are included to make the rooms feel larger.

An accessible lobby lines the main traffic corridor with walk up entrances to units, activating the corner of the property. The rooftop amenity deck and community room give residents a panoramic view towards downtown. Brick is the main material used for the base and to wrap the corner. It is paired with fiber cement siding as well as longboard highlights at the entry and windows above.
