Local 15

Local 15 is located at the corner of Como Avenue and 15th Avenue SE in Minneapolis near the University of Minnesota and Van Cleve Park. The three-story apartment building has enclosed parking, bike storage and a first-floor lounge. The unit mix is predominantly one-bedrooms, with a few studios and one-bedrooms plus den. The building was designed with graduate students and University of Minnesota staff in mind.

The exterior design includes a mixture of Hardie lap siding and Nichiha panels, with Longboard wood-look siding that wraps the canopy and continues through to the ceiling of the interior community room. The building has oversized windows that make the units feel more spacious and metal sunshades that provide accents to the façade as well as helping to mitigate solar heat gain.
